When the hills bloom and the rivers swell, join us for a day that honors the rhythm of the Gorge in late spring. On Saturday, June 7, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum will come alive with all things wildflowers and watersheds during our Festival Open House.

● Meet a Wildflower Children’s Book Author and get your book signed
● Hands-On Games & Crafts for kids of all ages
● Biologist Talks every hour on the hour; featuring fascinating insights into the Gorge’s wildlife and how we can be good neighbors
● Docent-Led Wildflower Walks on the museum grounds
● Bug Hunts with an entomologist (bring your curiosity!)
● Solar Scopes to safely observe the sun
● Nature Documentaries screening inside
From kid-friendly fun to natural science storytelling, this is a perfect outing for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to connect with the season.

● Standard museum admission for adults (no extra fee for Open House activities)
