About the event
A group, headed by Leonard Olson and Dan Harkenrider, will lead a team in completing as many outdoor fire abatement projects as possible. This includes everything from using backhoes to remove vegetation to laying a barrier (of donated roofing materials) to moving and spreading gravel and adding 2' x 4' edging with holes drilled for spikes.
We can use people who have chainsaws--and know how to use them, and other such yard maintenance tools and experience.
We will also welcome volunteers who can help with weeding, general land maintenance, and other less vigorous chores.
Water and lunch will be provided!
