Discover the Gorge!

Our trained education staff and Forest Service interpreters are committed to using our Gorge classroom to deliver the highest quality educational programs to students of all ages. Our cultural and natural history curriculum are designed to meet state and federal standards while also providing engaging and entertaining experiences as students learn. We provide field-based outdoor programs as well as museum-based indoor programs.

Distance Learning
Take a virtual field trip through the CILC program, bringing the educators of the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center to you through video conferencing. Also Download teacher plans and classroom activities.

Educational materials, including curriculum guides, books, videos, and educational games may be checked out of the Educator Resource Center located within the William G. Dick Library. Some lending restrictions may apply. Appointment suggested. library@gorgediscovery.org
