Columbia Gorge Discovery Center Weddings: a venue like no other
People from all over the world come to the Columbia River Gorge to celebrated their special day. A rugged gorge chiseled by history, river and time affords a spectacular backdrop to special events – especially weddings. Nestled into 54 acres of grounds, the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum offers a panoramic vista of the Columbia River and surrounding landscape – truly a picturesque setting waiting to compliment your unforgettable ceremony.
The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum is a full-service venue offering delectable on-site catering from Rooted in the Gorge, full-service bar, day of venue coordination, and a seasoned staff. Let us handle the details so you and your guests can be present in the moment to create memories that will last a lifetime.
What sets us apart from other Gorge venues? Our award-winning building’s architectural design has the unique advantage of bringing the outdoors inside. The Meyer Memorial River Gallery creates a memory from the moment you step inside. The basalt rock walls and locally-sourced, raw Douglas fir timber columns perfectly frame the 30-foot wall of windows, while views of the rolling Klickitat Hills and the Columbia River complete the space. The River Gallery is a perfect blend of rustic charm and stunning elegance for your ceremony’s alter and isle.
What do people love about weddings with us? As a non-profit, we’re committed to being affordable, upfront and transparent about costs. Furthermore, our facility rental includes tons of extras that most venues upcharge for, like, day-of venue coordination; tables; chairs; linens; bar service; dimmable, colored track lights; sound system with microphone; podium; portable screen; digital projector; and a laptop.
Whether you want a small, intimate gathering or a large, formal gala, we can help you plan an event that fits your budget and your vision for your perfect day.
