Gallery Talks and Demonstrations
Our Gallery Talks and Demonstrations feature presentations by special guest speakers, Forest Service Interpreters and museum docents in our picturesque River Gallery against a stunning view of the Columbia River. Presenters draw their topics from our permanent exhibits to expand your tour of the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum.

Skywatch

Join Bob Duke and members of the Columbia Gorge Astronomers for a telescope show and viewing of the first quarter moon.  Later participants may return to new Saturn and other celestial wonders.

Oregon Trail Student Workshop

A full day program packed with fun activities, playing games, craft making, students will learn how pioneers hunted and cooked along the trail.  In the afternoon, students will watch a movie depicting life along the trail and top off their day eating Dutch oven dump cake around the wagon.
